Supporting your local charity not only helps them to help more people, but gives you that warm fuzzy feeling, so it's a win win situation.

We all know that we can donate to our local charity and help them financially, which is of course vital. You can volunteer your time to help with events, day to day activities and tasks which can also be the life blood of any charity.

But what if you don't have a lot of money or volunteering is impractical due to your own circumstances or disability?

Spread the word!

It couldn't be any simpler. Disability Support Project receive most of our calls and emails from referrals. People who are happy with our services and support simply telling someone else about it.

When something bad happens it spreads like the filling of a bean bag when it pops, covering every area of our social media. But what about when something good happens?

We don't have huge finances ourselves for marketing campaigns as most donations just cover our basic running costs, so every referral is priceless. One key reason is that Facebook and Google for example use algorithms that use reviews to show the most relevant website or social media page.

How can you help?

There are a number of ways that you can help spread the word about Disability Support Project without offering too much of your time and completely free. If you can do all of them even better, but even if it's just one you are helping us out tremendously.

The digital methods shown below are quite critical to how easily we are found.

Writing a review on Google:

When you type in Disability Support Group in Google you see our "Google Business" preview on the right (or in the centre on mobiles). Simply click on the Google Reviews sections (as shown below).......

Writing a Facebook review:

Facebook is not quite so obvious for reviews, but still quite simple. Simply type in "disability support project" into the search bar, click on our page link...

or click on this link here to skip 1, 2, 3 & 4.

Then go to "more" and "reviews" as shown below.....

Finally, Say whether you recommend Disability Support Project and write your review as shown below...

You can also share our posts on Facebook so that more people can see them. This is a great and simple way to spread the word so more and more people can get support with their disability.

Telling a friend in need

The simplest way to spread the word about Disability Support Project of course is to tell your friends and family yourself. If you see someone struggling to get support or read a post on social media, point them in our direction and we will do the rest.
